1. Identify Your Heater Type: Instant vs. Storage

The first thing we need to know is whether you have an Instant Water Heater or a Storage Water Heater.

• Instant Heaters: Usually small, mounted directly on the bathroom wall near the shower. They heat water as it flows through.
• Storage Heaters: Larger tanks that hold and heat a specific volume of water. These are often mounted high on a wall or hidden inside the ceiling.

2. Check for Leaks and Damage

• Is there an "Inlet" and "Outlet" pipe clearly visible?
